Press Conference: July 8, 2015

On July 8, the Bargello National Museum, Da Plastique, and the Florence Dance Company held a joint press conference to introduce the new exhibition “The Ascent of Orpheus” by Adi Da Samraj.

The moving truck pulled up to the Museo Nazionale del Bargello at 9:00 AM filled with nine of Adi Da’s monumental-scale art fabrications, with another truck containing three more pieces arriving later in the day.

Installation at the Bargello Museum

Installation of The Ascent of Orpheus exhibition of Adi Da’s art on July 1. It was a successful week in preparation for Adi Da Samraj’s solo museum exhibition, “The Ascent of Orpheus: Between and Beyond Representation and Abstraction” at the Bargello National Museum in Florence. The physical build out of the exhibition is complete and most of the exhibition space is now covered with black linen fabric. This coming Monday, July 6, all of the art works will be moved in and installed! The opening vernissage event will occur at 7 pm on Thursday, July 9.
